Self-described as a “tree-hugger who watches NASCAR,” Grant Peeples is known for razor-sharp socio-political songs, raucous humor, and heartfelt ballads. Influenced early by Bob Dylan, the Tallahassee native has spent decades observing American culture through music and poetry. A Focus Foundation Award winner, Peeples has toured coast to coast, released 11 albums, published three poetry collections, and performed regularly at festivals including the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival.
